Quality and Capacity
Quality at Xceleron is measured by the production of representative, accurate and precise data delivered on time to our clients. Quality is assured by having adequate Quality Control, Quality Assurance and instrument capacity in Xceleron's UK and US laboratories.
Quality Control and Assurance
The quality of the data we produce is of the utmost importance. Our robust sample preparation techniques are the result of ten years of critical insights. Xceleron scientists have developed a proprietary method to account for experimental losses due to incomplete extraction or low column recovery. This method is based on the use of a non-radiolabeled analyte as an internal standard. Our team is constantly working on ways to produce high quality data more efficiently.
Our laboratories are GLP and GCP compliant. We have separate Quality Assurance Units in the UK and US laboratories with dedicated professionals in each. The company has approximately 150 Standard Operating Procedures covering Study Conduct, Equipment, Operations, Organization, Health and Safety and Quality Assurance.
AMS and HPLC capacity
Xceleron uses robust commercial AMS technology capable of analyzing 50,000 samples per year. We reduce the risk of AMS instrument down-time by having two instruments, one in the UK and one in the US.
We use HPLC systems in the UK and US laboratories to separate drug metabolites before sample processing, and have full redundancy with multiple systems in both analytical laboratories.
